The 2019 Georgia Workers’ Compensation Bill of Rights Peel ‘N Post™ update sticker adheres to existing Georgia All-On-One™ Labor Law Posters and Mobile Poster Paks™ to ensure that mandatory workplace posters are compliant.
The Georgia Workers’ Compensation Bill of Rights for the Injured Worker (Form WC-Bill of Rights) displays information about employee rights and responsibilities under the state workers’ compensation law.
Under a new state law, the Georgia Workers’ Compensation law has been amended with changes effective as of July 1, 2019:
- The maximum weekly benefit for temporary total disability has increased to $675.00.
- The maximum weekly benefit for temporary partial disability has increased to $450.00.
- The maximum total compensation payable to a surviving spouse where there is no other dependent has increased to $270,000.
The Georgia Workers’ Compensation Bill of Rights has been updated to reflect amendments to the law.
The 2019 Georgia Workers’ Compensation Bill of Rights is a mandatory poster for employers with three or more employees. It must be posted in locations accessible to employees (Code of Georgia, § 34-9-81.1 (a)) and in the same location as the WC Panel of Physicians notice (Rule 81.1 of State Board of Workers’ Compensation). The WC Panel of Physicians notice is included on the Georgia All-On-One Poster.
