The 2018 Louisiana Earned Income Credit Poster Peel ‘N Post™ adheres to existing Louisiana All-On-One™ Labor Law Posters and Mobile Poster Paks™ to ensure required workplace posters are compliant.
The 2018 Louisiana Earned Income Credit poster displays a bulleted list of the maximum earned income and adjusted gross income levels at which employees may be eligible for the federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The posting also provides information on the now defunct Advanced Federal Earned Income Tax Credit, and provides a reminder that employers are required to inform employees of the potential availability of the Earned Income Credit at the time of hiring if the employee makes $48,000 or less annually.
The EITC is a refundable tax credit. To qualify for the EITC for the 2018 tax year, earned income and adjusted gross income must both be less than:
||No Children||1 Qualifying Child||2 Qualifying Children||3 or More Qualifying Children|
Employers are required to inform an employee who makes $48,000 or less of the potential availability of Earned Income Tax Credits at the time they are hired.

Employers are required to post the 2018 Louisiana Earned Income Credit poster in the same location where other employee notices required by state and federal law are posted. (Louisiana Revised Statutes § 23:1018.2)
