The 2018 South Carolina Unemployment Insurance Poster Peel ‘N Post™ adheres to existing South Carolina All-On-One™ Labor Law Posters and Mobile Poster Paks™ to ensure required workplace notices are up to date.

The South Carolina Unemployment Insurance Poster informs employees that the posted establishment may be covered by the S.C. Employment and Workforce Law (previously referred to as the Unemployment Compensation Law). The poster describes the conditions under which an employee may be eligible for benefits and what an employee should do if they become unemployed, including how to apply for benefits. The poster also describes how unemployment insurance is funded and the difference between unemployment insurance tax and Social Security tax.

The South Carolina Unemployment Insurance Poster has been updated with a new website URL for employees to apply for benefits online. The poster also provides a URL for employees to access a guide to applying for unemployment benefits. This information must be communicated because employees must file an application online in order to be considered eligible for unemployment benefits.

The previously-provided URL to find a listing of SC Works centers has been removed from the poster. The revision date has been changed to August 2018. The poster has also been redesigned with a new blue color scheme.
