Under Section 23 of the New Hampshire Statutes (Chapter 354-A:23), every person, employer, employment agency, labor union, real estate agency and rental office shall display the Equal Opportunity for Housing Poster in a conspicuous place or places.
It is illegal to discriminate in the sale, rental, or financing of housing on the basis of:
- Race, Color, or National Origin
- Sex
- Sexual Harassment
- Gender Identity
- Familial Status
- Physical Disability
- Sexual Orientation
- Mental Disability
- Age
- Marital Status
- Religion
The poster includes contact information to the Commission for Human Rights for individuals with questions or that would like to file a complaint.
