The New York City Healthy Eating Poster advises food establishment consumers about the risks of excessive sugars and carbohydrate intake. The poster also includes images of healthy food options, and web links to access more healthy eating information.
Posting Requirements
Food service establishments in New York, New York that sell food for consumption on its premises are required to post healthy eating information provided by the New York City Department Of Health and Mental Hygiene. The information must be posted in a conspicuous and accessible place in each establishment. (NYC Admin. § 17-1507(a)) Food service establishments that do not display the poster as required by the Department may be fined $200.
