Posting Requirement
Under the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code §11.041 and §61.11, establishments licensed to sell alcohol for off-premises consumption or establishments licensed to sell alcohol for on-premises consumption whose alcohol sales account for 50% or less of total gross receipts must display a poster stating that the unlicensed carrying of a weapon is prohibited. The poster must be at least 6 inches high and 14 inches wide, must appear in contrasting colors, and must be displayed in a conspicuous manner clearly visible to the public.
Establishments licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption whose alcohol sales constitutes more than half of gross receipts must display the Texas Bilingual Hand Gun 51 Poster.
