The updated Kansas Unemployment Insurance posting provides information about Kansas’ Unemployment Insurance program and its new website, including:
- The purpose and funding of the Unemployment Insurance program
- To be eligible for Unemployment Insurance benefits, the claimant must:
- Be able to work
- Be available for work
- Be seeking suitable employment
- Meet work history and earnings requirements
- Comply with weekly job search requirements
- Participate in reemployment services
- Using Kansas’ new Unemployment Insurance web portal – KansasUI.gov – to file a claim, submit weekly certifications, and check eligibility status.
The posting has also changed to a bilingual English/Spanish format.
Who must post the Kansas 2025 Unemployment Insurance Peel ‘N Post?
Each employer shall post and maintain the Unemployment Insurance benefits posting in a conspicuous place in each plant, branch, or establishment maintained by that employer. (KAR 50-3-1)
