The 2025 Nebraska Discrimination Poster Peel ‘N Post adheres to existing Nebraska All-On-One™ Labor Law Posters and Mobile Poster Paks™ to ensure required workplace posters are up to date with state law and posting requirements.
The Nebraska Discrimination posting informs individuals that discrimination in employment on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, or marital status is prohibited. Unlawful employment practices may include discrimination in the areas of: hiring and promotion, compensation, discipline, and other terms, conditions and privileges of employment. The posting has recently been updated to reflect that an employer is prohibited from retaliating against an employee because he or she has inquired about, discussed, or disclosed information regarding employee wages, benefits, or other compensation. The updated posting also clarifies that the Equal Pay Act covers employers with two or more employees, and the Act Prohibiting Unjust Discrimination in Employment Because of Age covers employers with 20 or more employees.
Posting Requirement
Every employer subject to the laws administered by the Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission must post the Nebraska Discrimination posting in conspicuous, well lighted places frequented by employees, job seekers, or applicants for union membership. (NS § 48-1226)
