AB 307 – What’s new?
- Each calendar quarter, the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR) is required to prepare a notice concerning the Department’s job training and employment programs. DETR was given the duty to prepare these notices pursuant to Assembly Bill 307 (2021) adding to its other statutory duties to support employment and economic independence for residents of the State who are disadvantaged, displaced or disabled.
- AB 307 has been updated to comply with DETR’s April 1, 2025 reporting requirement. The updated AB 307 posting provides a current, comprehensive list of employment and training programs and links to access these resources online.
AB 307 – Who must post?
All private employers in Nevada are required to post and maintain each such notice in a conspicuous location of the workplace where notices to employees and applicants for employment are customarily posted and read. (NRS 232.933)
