October is National Bullying Prevention Month

Join Compliance Poster Company as we support National Bullying Prevention Month. The campaign was founded by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention. Bullying is a repeated aggressive behavior where one person or group of people in a position of power deliberately intimidates, abuses, or coerces an individual with the intention to hurt that person physically or emotionally. Bullying can be verbal, psychological, physical, or online. Individuals can also show their support on October 25, 2017 by going orange. By wearing orange or adding orange to social media, individuals can send a message of support, hope, and unity.

According to Mental Health America, approximately two out of every five people have been bullied at work. Bullying can have serious effects on an individual’s physical health, mental health, performance, and commitment to the organization. Employers can help promote a healthy work environment by reassuring that the organization is taking steps to eliminate workplace bullying. Employers can also develop a policy to prevent workplace bullying and ensure that the organization is prepared to deal with it if it occurs.

Compliance Poster Company provides the Bullying in the Workplace Poster to help employers spread awareness of workplace bullying. The poster covers:

  • bullying behavior and tactics,
