Starting today, Prince Edward Island minimum wage employees will see an increase in their pay. The minimum wage will increase from $10.35 per hour to $10.50 per hour. The increase comes as part of the provincial government’s plan to help Prince Edward Island families. As for the maximum amounts that may be deducted from the wages of an employee where the employer furnishes board and lodging will remain the same. That is, for board and lodging to maximum amount is $56 per week, for board only is $45, for lodging only is $25 per week, and for single meals is $3.75 per meal.
