City of Los Angeles, CA Minimum Wage Poster

Last year, the City of Los Angeles, California began implementing the city’s Minimum Wage and Paid Sick Time Law which establishes a series of fixed minimum wage rate increases for the next six years. Then, beginning July 1, 2022 the minimum wage rate will be adjusted each year for inflation based on the Consumer Price Index.

This year, the minimum wage rates will increase between 5% and 15% depending on employer size. The July 1, 2017 minimum wage rates are:

  • Large employers (26 or more employees) – $12.00 per hour
  • Small employers (25 or fewer employees) – $10.50 per hour

Also this year, small employers are required to provide their employees with 48 hours (6 days) of paid sick leave per year. Large employers were required to provide their employees with paid sick leave beginning last year.

Los Angeles employers must post the city’s Minimum Wage and Sick Time Notice in a conspicuous place at any workplace or job site in English and any other language(s) spoken by at least five percent (5%) of the employees at the workplace or job site. We’ve created the poster in two language formats: all 13 published languages and bilingual English/Spanish. To order, click here.
