What changed?

The District of Columbia Time Off to Vote Notice has been revised to reflect the 2022 General Election dates:
  • Early Voting – October 31 – November 6, 2022
  • Election Day – November 8, 2022
Under the District of Columbia Leave to Vote Amendment Act of 2020, all employers are required to provide employees with at least two hours of paid leave to vote in person in any public election in the District. Employees who are ineligible to vote in the District are eligible to receive two hours of paid leave to vote in person in any election run by the jurisdiction in which the employee is eligible to vote.
Who must post?
All District of Columbia employers with one or more employees are required to display the notice in a conspicuous place. (DC Code § 1-1001.07a)
