How did the Minimum Wage posting change?
The Arizona Minimum Wage posting has been revised with the new minimum wage rate effective as of January 1, 2020. The minimum wage will increase to $12.00 per hour.
All employers who are subject to the Fair Wages and Healthy Families Act are required to prominently display the Arizona Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in each establishment where employees are employed. (Arizona Revised Statutes §23-364(D)) Businesses are exempt if they gross less than $500,000 in annual revenue.
How did the Unemployment Insurance posting change?
The Arizona Unemployment Insurance posting has been revised in the following ways:
  • New top and bottom banner. Top banner reads: “Department of Economic Security – Your Partner For A Stronger Arizona.”
  • The pamphlet “A Guide to Arizona Unemployment Insurance Benefits (PAU-007)” referenced in the posting has been renamed “A Guide to Arizona Benefits.”
  • The Unemployment Insurance Tax Office phone number has been added.
  • Details regarding Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act and other nondiscrimination laws have been removed.
All Arizona employers with one or more employees are required to display the Unemployment Insurance posting in places readily accessible to employees. (Arizona Revised Statutes §23-772(D))
