Who is required to post?
Every employer subject to the Minimum Wage Act must keep the Department of Workforce Solution’s summary of the act posted in a conspicuous place wherein any person subject to the act is employed, clearly and conspicuously setting forth the current minimum wage rate. (NMSA 50-4-25) Violation of the posting requirement is a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and/or a fine of $1,000. (NMSA 50-4-26)
