What changed?
- New! Predictive Scheduling – Employers with 500 or more employees worldwide in the retail, hospitality, or food services industry, must post the employees’ written work schedule in the workplace at least 14 days in advance of the start of the schedule. An employer must pay additional compensation for schedule changes with less than 14 days’ advance notice. Prior to July 1, 2020, an employer was required to provide seven days’ advance notice of the work schedule.
- Revised! Minimum Wage – Spanish – The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries made a correction to the regional minimum wage rates in the posting inset.
- Updated! Mobile Poster Paks – All 2020 posting updates are included in the Mobile Poster Pak including the recently released 2020 Agricultural Workers posting.
Who must post?
- The Predictive Scheduling posting must be posted in a conspicuous and accessible location in the employee’s workplace. An employer may provide the posting on an individual basis (physically or electronically) to employees who work remotely or do not have a regular workplace or job site. (O.A.R. 839-026-0030)
- The 2020 Agricultural Workers posting describing Oregon’s current minimum wage rates and working conditions applicable to adults and minors working in agriculture must be posted in places where such workers are employed. (O.A.R. 839-026-0085)
