Cal OSHA Makes Updates to Safety and Health Protection on the Job Workplace Poster

The Division of Occupational Safety and Health, better known as Cal/OSHA, protects workers and the public from safety hazards. Essentially, California law provides job safety and health protection for workers under the Cal/OSHA program. Under these laws both employers and employees have rights and responsibilities. Displaying the Safety and Health Protection on the Job poster is one important employer responsibility.

Did you say Safety and Health Protection on the Job poster? Yes… and this poster has what is referred to as “minor” changes. This means that the changes Cal/OSHA has made are not legislative or “major” in nature and employers are not required to update their labor law posters.   • The Bakersfield District Office has a new phone number,
  • No longer have a Monrovia/Pico Rivera District Office listed on the poster,
  • The San Francisco District Office has a new address and phone number,
  • The Sacramento Regional Office has a new suite number,
  • There is a new Revision Date of June 2012.
