Veterans Benefits and Services
Pursuant to House Bill 4976 (2024), employers with 50 or more employees are required to display this new posting in the workplace. The posting provides resources available to veterans, including web addresses to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and MassHire Veterans Programs and Services. Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave posting reflects that starting January 1, 2025, individuals taking leave may receive a maximum benefit amount of $1,170.64 per week.
Earned Sick Time
The posting has been revised pursuant to House Bill 4999 (2024), which allows employees or their spouses to use earned sick time in the event of pregnancy loss or failed assisted reproduction, adoption, or surrogacy.
Who must post?
- Every employer with more than 50 full-time employees must post the Massachusetts Veterans Benefits and Services posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the premises where covered employees are employed. (Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 115 § 2E)
- Every employer must post the Paid Family and Medical Leave posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the premises where covered employees are employed. (Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 175M § 4(a))
- Every employer must post the Earned Sick Time posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the premises where covered employees are employed. (Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 149 § 148C)
