The 2024 Michigan Discrimination Poster Peel ‘N Post™ adheres to existing Michigan All-On-One™ Labor Law Posters and Mobile Poster Paks™ to ensure required workplace posters are up to date with state law and posting requirements.
During Michigan’s 2023 legislative session, Senate Bill 4 and Senate Bill 90 were passed expanding the list of protected categories under the Civil Rights Act. The amended Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination in housing*, employment**, education, and public accommodations based on:
- Religion
- Race (including hair texture and protective hairstyles)
- Color
- National origin
- Sex
- Disability
- Sexual orientation
- Gender identity or expression
- Age
- Marital status
- Height**
- Weight**
- Arrest record**
- Genetic information**
- Familial status*
Employers in Michigan must display the Michigan Discrimination poster. (MCL § 37.2206)
