The 2024 Michigan Minimum Wage Poster Peel ‘N Post™ adheres to existing Michigan All-On-One™ Labor Law Posters and Mobile Poster Paks™ to ensure required workplace posters are up to date with state law and posting requirements.
Under Michigan’s Improved Workforce Opportunity Wage Act of 2018, scheduled minimum wage increases are prohibited when the state’s annual unemployment rate for the preceding calendar year is above 8.5%. The unemployment rate as determined by the Bureau of Labor Statistics for this year will dictate if there is an increase for 2024. If the unemployment rate stays below 8.5%, the minimum wage is scheduled to increase to $10.33 per hour beginning January 1, 2024. For tipped employees, the minimum wage is scheduled to increase to $3.93 per hour.
Posting Requirement
All employers subject to Michigan’s Improved Workforce Opportunity Wage Act of 2018 must post the 2024 Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous place in the workplace that is accessible to employees. (MCL 408.937)
