Governor Malloy of Connecticut just signed legislation raising Connecticut’s minimum wage effective January 1, 2014. The state has not had a minimum wage increase for three years.
Beginning January 1, 2014 the minimum wage rate jumps 45 cents from $8.25 to not less than $8.70 per hour. Exactly one year later, January 1, 2015, the rate bumps again to not less than $9.00 per hour.
