Under Texas Law §411.203, employers (public or private) can prohibit individuals who are licensed under this sub-chapter from carrying a concealed or open carry handgun on the premises of the business. Employers may post signs to indicate entry on the property with a handgun by a license holder is forbidden. The signs must include language described in the Texas Penal Code, be in English and Spanish, and appear in contrasting colors with block letters at least one inch in height.
