Production Description
The Federal Human Trafficking Hotline Poster provides information on human trafficking in the United States and the National Human Trafficking Resource Center’s resources, including the confidential 24/7 hotline.
Victims of human trafficking may be forced to provide labor or commercial sex and unable to leave due to coercion, fraud, abuse, or threats of violence or retaliation. Victims of sex trafficking or labor trafficking may be any age, gender, or nationality.
Since 2007, the non-profit, non-governmental National Human Trafficking Hotline has received over 150,000 reports on potential victims of sex or labor trafficking. The National Human Trafficking Resource Center provides help and referral services for victims and survivors of human trafficking, as well as training and general information for those who wish to provide assistance to victims.
Posting Requirement
The Federal Human Trafficking Hotline Poster is not a required posting. Businesses in the U.S. are encouraged to post the Human Trafficking Hotline Poster in a location visible to the public to help raise awareness of human trafficking and provide help to victims and people who wish to report potential victims.
