Every operator of a hotel must post the human trafficking poster in a location conspicuous to employees. (5 R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-14.1-2) A hotel is defined as “a hotel, motel, resort, boarding house, or bed and breakfast that is kept, used, or advertised as, or held out to the public as, a place where sleeping or housekeeping accommodations are supplied for pay to guests for leisure, business, or group occupancy.”
The poster must be in English and any other language spoken by at least 10% of the employees.
