Since 2007, the non-profit, non-governmental National Human Trafficking Resource Center Hotline has received 246,267 reports on potential victims of sex or labor trafficking. The Resource Center provides help and referral to services for victims and survivors of human trafficking, as well as training and general information for those who wish to provide assistance to victims.
New Jersey Hospitality Human Trafficking Poster
The owner of a hotel or motel or manager acting as agent of the owner must post the New Jersey Hospitality Human Trafficking Poster in conspicuous and visible locations in areas accessed by hotel or motel employees, such as, laundry rooms and employee break rooms. (N.J.A.C. § 5:10-29.1)
The New Jersey Hospitality Human Trafficking Poster includes a list of signs or “red flags” that might indicate that trafficking is occurring. The poster also provides the New Jersey Human Trafficking Hotline where individuals may report human trafficking or for information or resources.
