The 2025 Rhode Island Pregnancy Discrimination Poster Peel ‘N Post™, also known as “Notice of Right to be Free from Discrimination Because of Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Related Conditions,” adheres to existing Rhode Island All-On-One™ Labor Law Posters to ensure required workplace posters are up to date with state law and posting requirements.
Effective June 24, 2025, House Bill 6161 (2025) mandates that covered employers provide reasonable accommodation for an applicant’s or employee’s menopause or related condition. The Rhode Island Pregnancy Discrimination posting has been updated to reflect these new fair employment practices. Such accommodations include, but are not limited to: more frequent or longer breaks, time off to recover from childbirth, acquisition or modification of equipment, seating, temporary transfer to a less strenuous or hazardous position, job restructuring, light duty, break time and private non-bathroom space for expressing breast milk, assistance with manual labor, or modified work schedules.
Posting Requirements
Employers with four or more employees must conspicuously post the Pregnancy Discrimination posting in an area accessible to employees. (R.I. Gen. Laws § 28-5-7.4(4))
