The Nebraska Alcohol Pregnancy Warning Poster warns patrons that drinking alcoholic beverages during pregnancy can cause birth defects.
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), drinking alcohol during pregnancy may result in a range of life-long physical, behavioral and intellectual disabilities known collectively as fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. It may also lead to miscarriage or stillbirth. There is no known safe amount of alcohol to drink while pregnant.
Posting Requirements
Every establishment with an alcohol license in Nebraska must prominently display the Alcohol Pregnancy Warning Poster. (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 53-148.01)
