The City of Dallas prohibits smoking and electronic devices in any indoor or enclosed area in the city.
Places where smoking and electronic devices are prohibited include:
- An elevator;
- A hospital or nursing home;
- Any facility owned, operated, or managed by the city;
- Any retail or service establishment;
- Any workplace; and
- Any facility of a public or private primary or secondary school or any enclosed theater, movie house, library, museum, or transit system vehicle.
The Dallas No Smoking poster displays the universal symbols for no smoking and use of an electronic smoking device.
