An owner, lessee, manager, superintendent, agent or broker of any housing accommodation, commercial property or other real property cannot refuse to sell, rent, or lease (in terms, conditions, or privileges of the sale, rental, or lease of any housing accommodation) based on the protected characteristics listed above. The Ordinance also prohibits any person from harassing, threatening, harming, damaging, retaliating or discriminating against a person who has exercised his or her rights under the law or for participating in an investigation.
