The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) provides for premium reductions and additional election opportunities for health benefits under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA). Per Title III, Section 3001(B),(V)and(VI), the law requires employers to display in a prominent manner notice of COBRA continuation coverage, enrollment opportunities and premium reduction rights.
