The poster provides a hotline for victims or those who wish to report a suspected incident of human trafficking.

Under the Delaware Code, this poster must be displayed in the following establishments:

  • Adult entertainment establishment;
  • Entity found to be maintaining a criminal nuisance involving prostitution;
  • Job recruitment center;
  • Hospital;
  • Wellness center;
  • Shelter or residential service designated to serve victims of domestic violence or sexual assault, or individuals experiencing homelessness or food insecurity;
  • Residential child care facility;
  • Independent and transitional living service provider for youth aging out of foster care;
  • Hotel;
  • Convenience store along a major highway;
  • Gas station along a major highway;
  • Casino;
  • Restaurant with a liquor license;
  • Poultry processing plant;
  • Bus or train station;
  • Bar;
  • Massage establishment; and
  • Shopping mall.

Posting Requirements

The Delaware Human Trafficking Poster must be at least 8.5″ x 11,” and contain centralized human trafficking hotline. Non-compliance with the poster requirements may result in civil penalties. (Delaware Code, Title 11, Sec. 787(l))

Businesses may also post voluntarily to help support the effort to stop human trafficking.
