The Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General (DHS OIG) Hotline is designed to receive allegations regarding:
• Employee corruption
• Civil rights
• Civil liberties abuses
• Program fraud
• Financial crimes
• Miscellaneous criminal and non-criminal activity associated with waste, abuse, mismanagement or misconduct affecting the programs and operations of DHS
The DHS OIG poster encourages DHS employees, contractors, and the public to report suspected criminal violations, misconduct, wasteful activities, and allegations of civil rights and civil liberties to the hotline. Complaints can be made anonymously and confidentially.
Posting Requirement
The DHS OIG poster must be displayed by businesses with “contracts funded, in whole or in part, by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) disaster relief funds and the work is to be performed in the United States.” (48 CFR § 252.203-7004)
