Under the District of Columbia Human Rights Act of 1977, it is unlawful for any person to deny, directly or indirectly, any person the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodations in the District of Columbia.

Posting Requirements
Every person subject to District of Columbia Human Rights Act of 1977 must post and keep posted in a conspicuous location the District of Columbia Public Accommodations Poster where business or activity is customarily conducted or negotiated. (DC Code § 2-1402.51)
