The New York Miscellaneous Industries Wage Order Summary provides specific unit rates and minimum daily and weekly salary amounts for employees covered by Part 142 of Title 12 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules, and Regulations of the state of New York.
Under the Minimum Wage Order for Miscellaneous Industries and Occupations, an employee means any individual employed or permitted to work by an employer, except those employed by a Federal, State, or municipal government or political subdivisions, baby-sitters, companions, booth renters, labor on farms, and administrative or professional capacity.
