The OFCCP Fair Pay Poster provides information on the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) policies for federal contractors. These policies include hiring a diverse workforce, treating workers fairly and without discrimination, and paying all workers fairly. The poster provides a contact number and website address for workers who wish to report an incident of possible discrimination to OFCPP.
OFCPP ensures that those doing business with the federal government fulfill their responsibilities to take affirmative action and not discriminate on the basis of an employee or applicant’s:
- sexual orientation
- gender identity
- national origin
- status as a protected veteran
Federal contractors and subcontractors are also prohibited from discharging or otherwise discriminating against applicants or employees who inquire about, discuss, or disclose their compensation or that of others.
The OFCCP Fair Pay Poster is not required, but is recommended for education and outreach. Contractors and subcontractors can display this poster to inform workers that they are in compliance with OFCCP’s program policies and believe in the agency’s goal of opening the door of opportunity for all workers.
The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) protects the rights of employees and job applicants of federal contractors.
