Texas Human Trafficking Poster
The Texas Human Trafficking Poster reminds the public that obtaining forced labor or services is a crime. The poster also provides contact information for the National Human Trafficking Hotline for victims or those who wish to report a suspected incident of human trafficking.
Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery in which traffickers use force, fraud, or coercion to control victims for the purpose of engaging in commercial sex acts or labor services against his/her will. In 2018, the National Human Trafficking Resource Center Hotline received 10,949 reports on potential victims of sex or labor trafficking. The Resource Center provides help and referral to services for victims and survivors of human trafficking, as well as training and general information for those who wish to provide assistance to victims.
