Wisconsin Unemployment Benefits Posting Update
The “Notice to Employees About Applying for Wisconsin Unemployment Benefits” has been revised with the latest identity verification information. Individuals must verify their identity to file an unemployment benefits claim. Those who cannot verify their identity will not be able to file. A new QR code has been added to the posting to provide quick access to information on how to apply for unemployment insurance benefits.
The posting revision date is 10/31/25.
Posting Requirements
All employers covered by Wisconsin’s Unemployment Insurance Law are required to display the Unemployment Benefits posting in a conspicuous place (Wisconsin Administrative Code, DWD 120.01).
