Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination Releases Updated Fair Employment Poster

Back in November 2011 Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick signed into law legislation outlawing employment discrimination based on gender identity. Massachusetts House Bill 3810, made gender identity a protected category under Massachusetts nondiscrimination statutes. It also added gender identity as a protected category to several laws to protect individuals from harassment and other hate-related crimes. With the signage of HB 3810 Massachusetts became the 16th state to protect transgendered people. Great news — MCAD has released the long-awaited updates to the mandatory Fair Employment in Massachusetts workplace poster.
