2019 Oregon Minimum Wage Rates Poster Now Available – Update By July 1!

Oregon ‘s minimum wage law establishes a series of scheduled increases to the state minimum wage rates every July 1.   • Standard: $11.25 per hour
    • Applies to the following counties, with the exception of those areas located within the urban growth boundary of a metropolitan service district: Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Deschutes, Hood River, Jackson, Josephine, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Tillamook, Wasco, Washington, and Yamhill
  • Portland Metro: $12.50 per hour
    • Includes areas located within the urban growth boundary of a metropolitan service district
  • Nonurban Counties: $11.00 per hour
    • Applies to the following counties: Baker, Coos, Crook, Curry, Douglas, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Klamath, Lake, Malheur, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, and Wheeler

The 2019 Oregon Minimum Wage Rates Poster provides additional information on Oregon’s wage and hour laws, including overtime, deductions, paydays, and meal and rest periods. The poster also includes a statement describing the Earned Income Tax Credit or EITC, a federal and state tax benefit for working people with low to moderate income.
