What’s changed?
The Maine Minimum Wage posting has been updated with the following minimum wage rates, effective January 1, 2020:
  • General minimum wage: $12.00 per hour
  • Direct wage for service employees: $6.00 per hour
  • Minimum salary threshold for overtime exemption: $692.31 per week
Employers that employ one or more employees are required to display the 2020 Maine Minimum Wage posting in a place accessible to employees. (MRSA Title 26 §42-B)

The following postings have been updated with a new equal employment opportunity statement, Maine Department of Labor email address, and revision date:
