Update Maine Regulation of Employment Posting

2020 Maine Regulation of Employment Peel ‘N Post™
Maine All-On-One™ Labor Law Poster
What’s changed?

During the 2019 legislative session, Governor Mills signed into law LD 1671. The new law requires employers to post a notice that states that an employee may be eligible for federal and state earned income tax credits. The notice must also state that the employee may apply for the tax credits on the employee’s income tax returns.
The Maine Regulation of Employment posting has been revised to include the required earned income tax credit information. The revision date on the posting has been changed to 03/2020.
Who must post?
All employers are required to conspicuously display the Maine Regulation of Employment posting in a place that is accessible to employees. (26 MRSA §45-B)
