Earned Income Credit (EIC) 2022
Louisiana law requires employers with 20 or more full-time or part-time employees to post the annual Earned Income Credit notice to employees. (R.S. 23:1018.1)The posting has been updated to reflect increases in the:

  • Income level of employees who should be provided notification of the EIC at the time of hire,
  • Income eligibility limits for claiming the EIC, based on the number of qualifying children claimed, and
  • IRS forms needed to claim the EIC.

Independent Contractor or Employee?

Louisiana law requires all employers to post the Independent Contractor or Employee? notice providing contact information that individuals can use to obtain information about employment classification or to file a complaint against an employer for failing to properly classify an employee. (R.S. 23:1711).

The revised posting has been updated to reflect the Louisiana Workforce Commission’s new Fraud Hotline number.
