What changed?
Certain terminology related to subminimum wages was removed from the Rhode Island Minimum Wage posting pursuant to 2021 House Bill 7511, which repealed a section of the Minimum Wage Act that permitted employers to pay subminimum wages to mentally and physically disabled workers.
Who must post?
All employers subject to the Rhode Island Minimum Wage Act must post and maintain the Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in the workplace. (RI General Law § 28-12-11)
