What’s new?
The Vermont 2023 Minimum Wage posting has been revised to reflect the increase in the State minimum wage rate, as follows:
Minimum Wage Rate – $13.18 per hour
Basic Wage Rate – $6.59 per hour
Maximum Tip Credit – $6.59 per hour
Who must post?
Every employer subject to the Minimum Wage Law is required to post the Vermont 2023 Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous place where employees are employed. (21 VSA § 393).
Every employer who has 15 or more employees is required to post Federal Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal in a place where it can be seen by employees and applicants. (42 USC 2000e-10).
