What’s New?
The Minnesota Minimum Wage posting has been revised with the new minimum wage rates, effective January 1, 2023:
  • Large employer minimum wage rate: $10.59 per hour
  • Small employer minimum wage rate: $8.63 per hour
  • Training wage and youth wage rate: $8.63 per hour
  • J-1 Visa wage rate: $8.63 per hour
Who Must Post?
  • Every employer subject to the Minnesota Fair Labor Standards Act must post the Minnesota Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the premises where a covered employee is employed. (Minnesota Statutes § 177.31)
  • Every employer who has 15 or more employees is required to post the Federal Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal in a place where it can be seen by employees and applicants. (42 USC 2000e-10)
