Minimum Wage in Nebraska
The posting has been revised to reflect changes to minimum wage provisions made by Ballot Initiative 433. The minimum wage will increase as follows:

  • January 1, 2023 – $10.50 per hour
  • January 1, 2024 – $12.00 per hour
  • January 1, 2025 – $13.50 per hour
  • January 1, 2026 – $15.00 per hour

Unemployment Insurance: Advisement of Benefit Rights

The posting has been revised to clarify the filing process of an unemployment insurance benefit claim. The posting also reflects the new web address for filing an online claim.

Who must post?
  • Every employer subject to the Wage and Hour Act is required to post the Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous place on or about the premises where employees are employed. (Nebraska Statutes § 48-1205)
  • Every employer is required to post and keep posted the Unemployment Insurance: Advisement of Benefit Rights posting. (Nebraska Statutes § 48-629)
  • Every employer who has 15 or more employees is required to post the Federal Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal in a place where it can be seen by employees and applicants. (42 USC 2000e-10)
