What’s new?
The Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) Pregnancy and Your Rights in the Workplace posting has been revised to reflect the IDHR’s new website address. Employees can use the more secure website to:
  • Access the IDHR’s March 2023 guide, “Illinois Protections Against Discrimination Based on Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Related Conditions, Including Reproductive Decision-Making.”
  • Initiate a charge against an employer.
  • Contact the IDHR if they have questions about their rights or to request the IDHR’s help using the IDHR’s interactive online form, by telephone, or by visiting an IDHR office location.
Who must post?

Illinois law requires all employers to post and keep posted in a conspicuous location where notices to employees are customarily posted in the workplace the current IDHR Pregnancy and Your Rights in the Workplace posting. (775 ILCS § 5/2-102)
