How did the Minimum Wage posting change?
The Florida Minimum Wage posting has been revised with the new minimum wage rates for non-tipped and tipped employees, effective January 1, 2020:
Florida’s minimum wage is recalculated yearly according to increases in the cost of living. The 2020 minimum wage rates represent a 1.12% increase over the previous year.
All employers with one or more employees who are subject to the Minimum Wage Law are required to prominently display the Florida Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in each establishment where such employees are employed. (Florida Statutes §448.109)
How did the Unemployment Insurance posting change?
The Florida Unemployment Insurance posting has been revised in the following ways:
The Unemployment Compensation Law requires all employers with one or more employees to display and maintain the Unemployment Insurance posting in places readily accessible to employees. (Florida Statutes §443.151)
