What else is new?
- Minimum Wage Law – Domestic workers are covered by the Minimum Wage Law.
- Wage Payment and Collection Act – Employees must be reimbursed for all necessary expenditures incurred in the scope of employment.
- Equal Pay Act –
- Employers are prohibited from asking applicants’ wage histories
- Employees are permitted to discuss their own wages with coworkers
- An employer may not pay an African American employee less than a non-African American employee for similar work
