What’s new?
The Kentucky Safety and Health on the Job notice has been revised to reflect new reporting requirements. Employers must report to the Division of Occupational Safety and Health Compliance the work-related death of an employee resulting from a heart attack within eight hours of the incident. Employers must also report the work-related hospitalization of an employee resulting from a heart attack within 72 hours.
Who must post?
All Kentucky employers are required to post the Kentucky Safety and Health on the Job notice in a conspicuous place where notices to employees are usually posted. (Kentucky Revised Statute, Chapter 338, Section 161) |
